What should I do if a window/glass door is broken at my property?

If a window or glass door at your property is broken (by you or one of your guests) then it is usually your responsibility to get it repaired or replaced at your expense (check your tenants' insurance as it may cover this). If you find that someone else (not you or your guests) has broken a window, you must report this to the police and then complete a repair request on our website providing us with as much detail as possible including the crime reference number (which the police will give you).

With the crime reference number, the repair will then usually be covered by the landlord's insurance.

Most of our properties have emergency cover in place - see the attachment for further information. Call the number on the document and give them your address to see if they can help you.
