How do I adjust my boiler's pressure?

No hot water?

If you suddenly find you have no hot water, it may be that the pressure in your boiler has dropped.  A boiler will only fire up when the pressure is correct, so if the pressure drops below a certain point, the boiler stops heating up.


Solution:

To correct this, you need to adjust the pressure by setting the pressure dial to the correct pressure for your boiler.  Your boiler manual will give you the specific ideal pressure for your make and model, but it is usually between one and one and a half bars (for most boilers).
